What counts as an active referral?
A qualifying referral is someone who joins the Caffè Affine Coffee Club through your referral link or code and keeps an active qualifying subscription. In other words, your cousin who “totally meant to order” does not count.
What happens if one of my five referrals cancels?
Your free-coffee reward is based on your number of active referrals. We plan to include a grace period so you have time to replace a cancelled referral. Coffee emergencies happen. We’re not going to shut off the bean faucet the second someone changes their mind.
Can I refer more than five people?
Absolutely. In fact, we encourage it. More active referrals can unlock higher reward levels and give you a little insurance if someone pauses or cancels. Five gets you free coffee. Ten means you may need a bigger cupboard.
Do my friends receive anything?
Yes. We’re building a special new-member offer for people who join the Coffee Club through a referral. Because asking your friends to join a coffee club is easier when there’s something in it for them besides your excellent judgment.
Is the coffee really free for life?
Your monthly reward continues for as long as you meet the active-referral requirement for your reward level and the program remains available under its published terms. So yes, potentially a very long time. We’re just not promising to keep roasting after the sun burns out.
What if I refer 8 people and 3 cancel?
You still have five active referrals, so your free coffee keeps coming. That’s why referring a few extra people is a smart move. Think of them as your coffee backup plan.
Can I refer people I actually know?
Yes, please. Friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, your book club, your pickleball group, the person who keeps stealing your office coffee — all fair game. Random internet strangers at 2 a.m. are probably less ideal.
